Lola is one of the most magnificent wooden sets yet from Grapat. Containing 72 loose pieces, the versatility and variety of possibilities are so exciting! This set both inspires creative thinking and imagination whilst supporting the development of fine motor skills, spacial and mathematical thinking and encourages an appreciation of an aesthetic.  

Made up of different types of tubes, some for use as a kaleidoscope, others as a possibility of construction and creation of imaginary worlds. Some can be seen as trees, buildings, cars … It allows the development of logical-mathematical thinking through classification, grouping and association of elements according to their colour and shape. 

The mini Lola and the different style tubes also invite children into symbolic play and the creation of Mini Worlds.

Joguines Grapat is a small, family-run workshop producing natural wooden toys near the base of the Pyrenees mountains in Catalonia, Spain. Casiana and Jordi (the founders of Grapat) drawing on ideas from Waldorf and Montessori pedagogies, and the natural world around them, believe that play is a sacred moment, that simply made toys without instruction encourage children to explore and discover each in their own unique way.  Made with love using mostly beech and birch wood sourced locally from sustainable forests, all Grapat Toys are finished with water-based, non-toxic dyes and vegetable oils, and come beautifully presented in sustainable eco-friendly packaging.
